Sam Skitt is the founder of New Strange, a creative content company specialising in podcasts, live streaming, and online video formats. A naturally creative and technically trained professional, Sam brings over 18 years of industry experience. This includes a decade-long collaboration with Julie Adenuga, spanning their work at Rinse FM through to Apple Music, where he was Executive Producer of her Beats 1 Show before becoming UK & International Production manager for Apple Music Radio. He’s crafted over 9000 hours of live radio for various stations, consistently committed to championing authentic voices and genuinely reflecting UK music culture.
Since launching New Strange, he's channelled his long-standing passion for podcasts and a growing interest in live streaming. Sam likens the energy of platforms like Twitch to the pirate radio scene he fell in love with as a teenager - but with new potential for real-time engagement and community building. New Strange has collaborated with Amazon Music to produce live Twitch shows and created several critically acclaimed podcasts, including Formula For Success and Black Prose.
